Brattleboro Buyer Brokerage Real Estate

Property Searches

There are six ways to search for listed property on the web:

  1. For people in the early stages of looking who may not require up-to-date accuracy, but perhaps would like to get an overview of our local market -- or of any local market -- might want to make use of REALTOR.com.
  2. Many ordinary real estate agencies put their own listings on the 'net.
  3. There are for-sale-by-owner (fisbo) sites, which may be found using a search engine, and some fisbos put up their own sites, just for the one home that they are selling.
  4. Members of the Vermont Real Estate Network (VREIN) Multiple Listing Service (MLS) are now able to display listings of other, participating agencies. This search is not as complete as an MLS search which I can do for you in response to your request, because not all MLS brokers participate in Broker Reciprocity. Also, the information displayed on a Broker Reciprocity search is not as detailed as the format which I would be able to send you. Nonetheless, it is a good way to "get your feet wet," and to begin to develop an idea of what is available in our local market.
  5. New Hampshire listings can be found at NNEREN's Web site.
  6. For a complete MLS search, send an email message giving the area, minimum acreage (if any), and top asking price. Write "search" in the subject line. I will respond by email with a link to the search results.

In addition, through the "grapevine" we often hear about other, non-advertised, properties, which we can make available to our clients.
